If you have a kid who loves cats, you know it can be tough to find a cat cafe that actually lets younger children in—so many places don’t allow kids under 12. We were so excited to discover The Whole Cat and Kaboodle in Kirkland!
This place is absolutely adorable. Their store area has tons of cat toys and cute kitty decor; even just browsing is fun. But the real highlight is the cat room. There are always several cats around, from tiny kittens just a couple months old, to sweet senior kitties. Our son loved getting to pet and play with them—he was thrilled that kids were welcome here.
The space is cozy and inviting, with comfy couches and a cute table where you can sit and relax with the cats. It just feels happy and calm; never overwhelming or noisy. We felt so welcomed as a family.
If you’re looking for a friendly, family-oriented cat cafe where your kid can actually spend time with the cats, I honestly can’t recommend The Whole Cat and Kaboodle enough. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!
